Unfortunately, this website will close around the middle of March as I don't have the funds to keep it going. (It would cost hundreds of pounds just for a further two years.) I am so sorry to have to do this and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who've left a comment or enjoyed the recipes over the last two years. Thank you for your support, your words of encouragement and your kindness.Β  And a massive thank you to Marie and Amanda for your recipes.

I am in the process of transferring some of the recipes over to the Loving No Count Facebook page and will do as many as I can in the time between then and now.Β  Please do print off your favourite recipes so you can continue to enjoy them.

I can still be found on Instagram: helen_wwgoldmember and Connect @hhay50

I wish you all the very best of luck on your WW journeys and hope that a happy and successful year lies ahead.

Love Helen xxx

  1. Hi,
I started WW when this was a new plan alongside the then normal daily points option in 2005/6. I found the weekly points great so that I could choose my treats better as well as learning to eat more healthily by creating nil/low point meals. I got down to my goal weight.

I tried a few years ago the new pro-point system which I found difficult to get my head around.

Being a hoarder I still had most of my original books and my points calculator which needed a new battery – but still works – and is always in my handbag as I walk round the supermarket!

At the beginning of the year I re-started my no count journey and at today’s weigh in after 8 weeks I had lost my first stone!

At the moment I don’t have a working freezer but that has made my weekly planning and shopping easier as I plan what I will eat and only buy what I need which can be a lot of the battle.

People at work are already commenting that they can see the difference and 2 people have asked for my diet plan.

I still have another 3 stone to go, to get back to my goal weight of 9.5 stone.

I was looking on the internet to see if there was anywhere that I could direct my friends so was glad to find there are others out there that think this is a great way to lose weight.

    Thank you!!
And I will be looking out for your Facebook page.

    1. Hi Kay πŸ€— I really enjoyed reading your weight loss story and a massive well done on losing a stone so far this year with NC! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’• Have a look at the No Count Friends group on Facebook too – that’s run by friends of mine and will help in the future when this website goes. Good luck with getting back to your goal weight πŸ’œπŸ’• Helen xxxxx

  2. Oh yes of course. Ours z lot of pressure on you. Well I’ll keep up on FB. Looking forward to my blueberry cakes tonight courtesy of your great website.

    1. Yes, we’ll keep up on FB πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’• Enjoy your blueberry cakes tonight – I wish I’d baked now πŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ’œπŸ’• Helen xxx

  3. Thank you Helen. Could you set up a fund raising page and see if each of your followers would be prepared to donate even a Β£1 would that help to fund you?

    1. Hi Samantha, thanks for the thought. I had looked into crowd funding to support the page but decided it wasn’t viable. If I didn’t receive enough money, I’d have trouble getting it back to everyone. Helen xxxx

  4. Frantically trying to print your recipes off Helen. So sorry for you that you’ve lost your funding. I just wanted to ask if you could clarify the blitzing oats And change in point value please?

    1. Hi and thank you πŸ€—πŸ’• WW said that if you blitz oats into a powder form then you have to point them like ordinary oats (40g would be 4sp) however, if you only blitz them a bit, you don’t have to count them. I did NC for quite a long time before realising this – I never pointed blitzed oats on NC and it worked for me. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’• If you have Facebook, I’ve moved a lot of the recipes to the Loving No Count page now. Wishing you all the best in the future, Helen xxxxxx

  5. Rejoining WW tomorrow. Dismayed to find No Count isn’t an option now. Lost 2st on it 2 years ago. Easy to follow and never felt deprived. Concerned Freestyle will feel constrained in comparison.

    1. Hi, don’t worry. I’ve managed to still eat many of the NC foods and fit it into Freestyle. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’• Did you go on Connect when you were last a member? It’s part of the WW app. Only I’ve written about my journey from NC to Freestyle which you could read and it may help. I’m @hhay50 on there. Rejoining WW in 2015 is the best thing I did: I really hope you have the same success. Good luck πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’πŸ’• Helen xxxxx

  6. Thanks for this lovely site. I enjoyed the odd NC days when I was on WW (before Flex) in the past and always lost on those days. I’ve decided to go back to it (keeping to Flex most days, but enjoying the NC freedom) as it makes me feel more relaxed. Your site is so helpful. I do have a question about the food list, though. I seem to recall (but perhaps it’s just wishful thinking) that air popped popcorn, with no oil, was also on the NC list. Is that your recollection or am I dreaming?

    1. Hi πŸ€— I’m glad you’re finding the site helpful and thank you for your lovely comments. πŸ’• Yes, you’re right – if you make the popcorn yourself, it was free on NC πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’• I’ve dipped it in choc shot for a point or two before now. πŸ˜‹πŸ’• Good luck and I hope you get to where you want to be. πŸ’πŸ’• Helen xxxxxx

    1. Hi πŸ€— you’re allowed the same number of weeklies that you would have following WW Freestyle. I had 28 πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’• Helen xxxx

    1. Hi πŸ€— You can find the NC food list on the No Count Explained page πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’• Glad you like the site πŸ˜πŸ’• Helen xxxxx

    1. Hi Teresa πŸ€— It is a shame NC has stopped but I’m glad this site can help you out. Good luck! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’• Helen xxxx
