Hi everyone! What a cold week it’s been in the UK this week, I really hope it starts to warm up soon. My husband and I headed out for a walk on the beach on Wednesday evening, with our dogs, and were kitted out in thermals, fleeces, thick coats, hats and gloves!  Let’s hope a good summer is on the way.

As you may know, No Count is now a way of life for me as it worked when everything else failed.  If you’re thinking of giving No Count a try, approach it by thinking it’s a way of eating without the constant tracking and not that it’s a chance to eat as much as you want from the No Count list.  For the best success, aim for three meals a day and one dessert (have a look at ‘What a No Count Week Looks Like’ to give you a better idea).  No Count also works better if you have some lunches that don’t include bread/wraps.  Try the crustless quiches, salads with a boiled egg, the ‘No Count Stacker’ (or a mini version) or bacon medallions with egg(s), mushrooms and tomatoes.  You can read my full story at ‘Why No Count?’.

Thank you everyone for your feedback on the recipes, it’s great to hear that so many of the meals are being enjoyed by the whole family.  Next week’s new recipes include:

  • Toad in the Hole ( a dish I’ve really missed since no counting but I’ve finally managed to make one for just 2 points per serving!)
  • No Count Turkey Chilli with Potato Skins
  • No Count Slow-cooked Chicken and Bacon
  • Key Lime Pie

I have now added ‘Loving No Count’ to Facebook and Twitter so, if any of you have accounts there, I would be very grateful if you could like and share the posts.

I wish you all a happy and successful week ahead; enjoy No Count if you’re giving it a go and do let me know how you’re getting on.
