These have just come out of the oven and are such a delicious afternoon treat – perfect with a cuppa! I’ve adapted a recipe from the new WW Bakes book in order to make them free on No Count. If following WW Freestyle, they would be 1 point each if you made 12.
Ingredients (makes 10):
- 4 bananas, mashed
- 125g oats
- 100g blueberries
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Mix the bananas and oats together in a bowl.
- Add the blueberries and stir in carefully.
- Use a spoon to place the mixture on a non-stick baking tray. I made 10 biscuits.
- Bake for 15 – 18 minutes.
- Allow to cool and enjoy!
I saw these on the app and thought they looked delicious- even better if you ca have them free on no count – well done Helen x
Awww thanks Amanda:-)I haven’t tried them with sultanas but they are amazing with blueberries! They’re going to be a regular snack here now – and so easy to make too – well done Weight Watchers:-)Helen xxxxx
Oh lovely. I’ll make these today as I have the ingredients x
Hi Abena, these are going to be a fab No Count snack – enjoy! Helen xxx
I made these with bananas and raisins have to say found them quite soft and bland even though I added some ginger for taste as the recipe stated. A little disappointed as was really looking forward to trying them think I would rather make my a low fat banana loaf.
Hi Debby, you might like them with blueberries – they flavour the biscuits perfectly.I also cooked them for a bit longer so they’re not too soft. Hope you have a fab week ahead, Helen xxxxx
These look delicious. A change from banana and blueberry muffins. I can have a change now.☺
Hi and thank you Jackie: yes, you can have a change now:-)Hope you like them,Helen xxxx
Yum look delicious, will definitely try to make them
Thanks Mary, they’re very tasty.
I have to say that these are absolutely lovely. I ate a couple whilst still warm and had to stop myself getting carried away and eating the rest (luckily I only made half the recipe as I’m not sure how long they will last). Also, are they better being kept in the fridge? Very impressed Helen xx
Hi Val
Made these today Helen and they are yummy. Unfortunately Trev is allergic to bananas so I’ll have to eat them all myself
